Kaleidoscope's Rock Band program takes
students beyond private lessons bringing guitarists,
drummers, bassists, vocalists and keyboardists together to play
classic and modern songs in a wide variety of styles. In rock
class, we learn to play with other musicians, develop chart-reading
skills, improvise in a band, and learn how to perform. Kaleidoscope
Rock Bands have played at Red Hook Brewery, Issaquah's Artwalk
and will be performing at Salmon Days 2007, the first full weekend
of October. Check out
our photo gallery of the 2006 band class
performances.
Rock
Band A
For older teens and adults,
this class focuses on solid musicianship and groove, playing
a wider variety of styles (rock, blues, jazz, funk, R and B,
reggae, pop, you name it!) and developing a repertoire.
Rock Band
B
For kids 7th to 10th grades, this class focuses
on 80s to current rock and hard rock off the radio. We have
a lot of fun!
Rock
Band C
This is a brand new class aimed at
kids 9 to 12 years in age who are looking for their first experience
playing with other musicians.

Another new class, this band is for teens and focuses on metal of all eras.
